Hi, I'm Mo.

I've been writing software for a very long time, and have had the good fortune to help my clients make progress on and solve interesting problems like

  • Business-facing web applications and APIs (RESTful and RPC)
  • Budget management, forecasting, and planning systems
  • Logistics forecasting and optimization
  • Large-scale, distributed, web-crawling
  • Data warehousing, ETL / ELT, and Change Data Capture (CDC)

This and other work of mine has directly improved my clients ability to, collectively, optimize billions of dollars in marketing, inventory, and acquisition budgets.

Outside of work, I encourage and organize other folks in software and start-up communities:

Stephen Mahon

Hi, I'm Steve.

I am an award-winning researcher with a diverse set of research interests in

  • Robotics
  • Fluidic and mechanical systems
  • Electronics
  • Rapid prototyping
  • Computational physics

My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Physics from University College Cork in Ireland, where I studied with the Laser Spectroscopy Group and the III-V Materials and Devices Group at the Tyndall National Institute, Cork. After completing my undergraduate studies, I pursued a Doctorate of Philosophy in Engineering at the University of Edinburgh, where my research focused on control architectures for robotics.

Following my PhD, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in robotics for extreme environments. During this time, I worked on developing the Connect-R system, a novel Multi-Robot System that is intended to provide maintenance and servicing capabilities in nuclear environments. I have contributed significantly to the fields of robotics, biomimetics, applied physics, intelligent systems, and micromachines, with hundreds of citations to my name.
